The Dasmarinas Journal of Sustainable Governance (DJSG) is committed to keep the highest standards of publication ethics, academic credibility, and accountable research practices in accordance with the core values of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD).

Anchored on Knowledge, Leadership, and Dedication, the journal fosters the improvement and sensible dissemination of scholarly works that may share significant ideas, evidence-based perceptions, and sustainable solutions for the development of the community and society.

Manuscript Evaluation

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous evaluation process to confirm originality, academic value, and conformity with ethical research standards.
  • The journal has the right to ask for supporting documents to prove the integrity of the submitted paper.

Author Responsibilities

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to practice honesty, transparency, and accountability in all phases of the publication process.
  • This includes proper citation, accurate documentation and presentation of research findings, and adherence to ethical research practice.
  • Authorship shall follow the principles of the Vancouver Protocol, ensuring that individuals credited as authors have made substantial contributions to conception, design, execution, analysis, interpretation, and manuscript preparation.
  • Contributions such as assistance in data gathering or providing equipment or tools must be properly acknowledged and must not be included as authorship.

Ethical Integrity

  • The journal has the right to reject, withdraw, or remove a published paper if it is proven to involve malicious, fraudulent, or dishonest cases or situations.
  • The journal constantly prohibits unethical practices such as plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, improper authorship attribution, conflicts of interest, and unappropriated use of intellectual property.
  • Reviewers and editors shall maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism in evaluating manuscripts.
  • All personal information collected through the Open Journal System (OJS) shall be protected and used solely for legitimate journal operations in accordance with data privacy principles.
