Aims and Scope

The journal welcomes submissions of quality research in any of the following sustainable development areas:

Sustainable Development Areas

Education Governance. This includes inclusive education, educational leadership, curriculum development, educational technology and innovations, policy and evaluation studies in education, lifelong learning, basic education, vocational education, and higher education.

Health Governance. This includes global health issues, public health, innovative health systems, health promotion and communication, health system resilience, and leadership and management in health governance.

Environment Governance. This includes biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation, marine biodiversity, sustainable use of oceans, conservation of terrestrial and inland freshwater ecosystems, and diversity protection.

Social Governance. This includes gender and development, equality studies, vulnerability reduction initiatives, peace education, social innovation, poverty reduction, food security, sustainable agriculture, social inclusion, and policy and institutional coherence.

Economic and Infrastructure Governance. This includes decent job creation, entrepreneurship, sustainable tourism, labor force development, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, access to information and communications technology, and sustainable urbanization.

Accepted Research Article Languages

The journal publishes research articles in English or Filipino. English translations of the title, abstract, and keywords must be provided for manuscripts written in Filipino.

Accepted Languages

Research articles may be written in English or Filipino.

Filipino manuscripts must include English translations of the title, abstract, and keywords.

Biannual Publication Schedule

The journal publishes articles on a biannual basis, with two issues released each calendar year in August and December.

  • First Issue August: The first issue is released in August within the same calendar year.
  • Second Issue December: The second issue is released in December to complete the biannual publication cycle.
